All wedding cake bookings must be accompanied by a £50 non-refundable deposit and all Birthday cakes/ Celebration Cakes require a non-refundable 50% deposit. By paying your deposit you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the contract below.

Voluntary additional payments: Any payments made in addition to the initial deposit once paid will then form part of your deposit payment, which in the event of cancellation will be non-refundable.

 

Payment Schedule:      

 Wedding Cakes £50 deposit, final balance due 4 weeks before                                  

Celebration Cakes 50% deposit, final balance due on collection of cake or 24 hours before delivery

Changes to Cake Design: 

Any changes made to the original design must be submitted in writing and may be subject to additional charge 

Cancellation: 

Cancellation of a booking must be made in writing and will be subject to the following terms:-

Cancellation after deposit received & prior to 3months before wedding - loss of all monies paid to date

Cancellation 3 months or less before wedding        - Full payment due

Cancellation of birthday/celebration cakes must be made at least 7 days prior to collection date and any monies paid to date will be non refundable

Cake Stand Hire: 

Cake stands are available to hire at a cost of £15, all stands will require a £30 deposit which will be returned on the safe return of the stand. Any damage to the hire of cake stands will be chargeable to the client and payable within 7 days.

Products Contents:

Cakes by Natalie cannot guarantee that any of our products do not contain traces of nuts, please contact us for more details if you have any allergies. 

Deliver/Collection of Cakes

Please note if the cake is collected, full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the client and Cakes by Natalie will not be responsible for any damage to the cake after it is collected. If your cake is being delivered, once the cake is set up we will not take any responsibility for the cake. 

Transport and Storage

Please ensure when transporting your cakes they are kept on a level flat service (ideally your car boot), and in cool conditions, DO NOT LEAVE cakes in the car for long periods of time in hot or cold weather. Please drive carefully avoiding sharp turns and heavy breaking as any damage made will be the responsibility of the client.

Please store your cakes in a cool dry room on a level surface DO NOT REFRIDGERATE!

All sponge cakes should be consumed within 5 days of collection but best eaten within 24 hours. Cakes made with fresh fruit in should be consumed within 24 hours. 

Non Edible Items

Any non edible items and decoration used on or in your cake will be explained to you, it is your responsibility to ensure these are all removed before the cake is consumed. 

Complaints/Refunds

In the very unlikely event you are unhappy with your cake you must contact me within 2 days of collection/delivery and evidence of faults must be provided.

 Please note refunds are unavailable based on the design of your cake so please ensure you are happy with the cake at time of collection/delivery as mistakes will not be rectified at a later date.  

 In the unlikely event you are unhappy with the taste of your cake, a refund will only be considered if the uneaten cake is retuned within 2 days of collection and all refunds will be at the discretion of Cakes by Natalie.                 

 Please note I offer a free taste test for all wedding cakes so please make use of this service so you can be sure you are happy with your chosen cake flavours.
